The Stylus Method are one of London's most exciting upcoming bands, blending art rock and British psychedelia with good old-fashioned rock'n'roll, electrifying live performance and stellar stage-wear.
Hailing from the coast of Norfolk and the North of Yorkshire, The Stylus Method have come together to become one of London's slickest bands. The Stylus Method blend rock, soul, psychedelia and pop with a vintage sensibility and an energetic dose of fun. As at home on festival stages as they are in the capital's intimate venues, the band has built on a residency at The Troubadour club and recording dates at EMI Abbey Road to create a confident and stylish output, unbothered by trends to prioritise the music, the vibe and the audience experience.
In the studio, relentless attention to harmony, melody and lyricism drive the band's recorded output. With 2 albums and a handful of singles and EPs behind them, the band are now mixing an ambitious 3rd album, The Smoke Machine, for release in late 2026.
In a live setting, their songs take on a hedonistic expansion, weaving-in stylised versions of retro classics and displaying the individual and collective musicianship of the four-piece. Audience participation in the whole affair seems to be non-negotiable: seeing The Stylus Method in concert is like stepping back in time to somewhere which never really existed; the most fabulous fever dream of your life.
“My favourite act was the young lads in the hats.”
